Coach Daniel Blanco has been appointed Chairman of the Retail Commission of the MADFintech cluster (Madrid Capital FinTech).
For almost 30 years, Daniel Blanco has specialized in the world of Retail, in a professional career in which he has collaborated with companies such as Media Markt, Ikea, Bauhaus, Bigmat or Leroy Merlin.
Daniel Blanco brings to Retail the vision that comes from having worked multisectorially, with experience in Health, Energy, Telephony, Banking or Tourism, giving a mix of knowledge applicable from one sector to others.
In his work, it is worth mentioning his specialization in the commercial and management area, being a managerial coach since 2003, contributing in both areas, always providing effective solutions. In that sense, it has developed different work and management systems for application at the point of sale with remarkable success.
In addition to his work as a coach and trainer in high performance skills specialized in retail, in recent years he has been involved in many events as a speaker and motivational speaker, contributing his vision of the professional world mixed with personal effectiveness.
“Daniel Blanco brings to Retail the vision that comes from having worked multisectorially with experience in Health, Energy, Telephony, Banking or Tourism, giving a mix of knowledge applicable from one sector to others,” says the managing director of MADFinTech.
Para el presidente de MADFinTech, Salvador Molina, “la reinvención del retail también está en la base de la reinvención de los servicios financieros. This is how some of the FinTech founders of Madrid Capital FinTech understood it from the beginning. Entities such as Woonivers or Senior Leading Card, which propose solutions to retail customers; but also neo-banks such as N26, Bnext, Evo Banco, Wizink or Imagin which generate new relationship mechanisms through payment cards; or as FinTech consumer credit at the point of sale (or training centers) such as Zank or Aplázame”.
Challenges of the MADFinTech Retail Commission
As president of the Retail Commission, Daniel Blanco addresses three major challenges, which will be the focus of many of the changes we will see in the coming years, as a result of the social, professional and economic change that the pandemic has left us:
- Creation of the first Digital Retail School, where training and professionalization of newly created professional profiles will be addressed and which will be demanded by companies in the very near future.
- Implementation of the TechTalks, to make the knowledge and working methods of the great professionals in the sector available to the general public. The TechTalks will have prestigious professionals, not only from the media but also from the day to day, who will share, through their personal experiences, everything they know.
- To provide Madrid with a large multi-sector event focused on Retail, a Summit with the participation of the country’s major firms, which also serves as a vehicular link between the labor market and fintech companies and those focused on trade.
Financial and technological skills will be at the core of all three initiatives. The link with customers through technological payment systems are already a common practice, as well as loyalty and payment cards, discounts and promotions. As well as financing from social crowdfunding or alternative financing platforms.
Y sin olvidar los marketplace que cada vez más unen las ofertas de compra con prestación de servicios, pasarelas de pago y políticas de descuento promocional, generación de comunidad y definición de territorios donde los servicios financieros son un transversal.
