Rodrigo Rueda, Sales Director Iberia at Sapiens and President of the Insurance and InsurTech Commission of the cluster, together with Salvador Molina, President of MAD FinTech, presented the innovation proposal offered by Madrid Capital FinTech (MAD FinTech) to more than 200 professionals from the main companies in the insurance sector, during the annual corporate event of Sapiens, a North American-Israeli technology company that is the backbone of the largest global insurance corporations.
Before them, Salvador Molina and Rodrigo Rueda presented the financial innovation proposal that the cluster has brought to Europe, and invited the companies gathered at the meeting to join MAD FinTech to continue boosting their businesses through the cluster’s foundations: collaboration, intrapreneurship, open innovation, co-creation, digitisation, public-private collaboration.
A cluster for all
One of the keys to the cluster’s success is precisely to be open to all types of companies, which has allowed the creation of an innovation ecosystem that extracts the best of each company to put it together with the aim of giving birth to new businesses. A concept that Sapiens knows perfectly well, as it is capable of adapting to the needs of each client, as Rodrigo Rueda himself explained in an interview with Foro ECOFIN.
MAD FinTech is already an international benchmark as a financial and insurance innovation ecosystem. Their example arouses the curiosity and involvement of many national and international actors. On this occasion, it was for its role in the world of Insurance, another of the strategic sectors of this association that seeks to create disruptive businesses: MAD FinTech took centre stage at the annual customer meeting of Sapiens, one of the most important digitalisation companies in the insurance sector in the world.
The cluster already brings together more than a hundred companies from all kinds of sectors, from banks to insurance companies, including startups, technology companies and, of course, Europe’s leading FinTech and InsurTech companies. It is therefore not surprising that many of the companies that participated in the Sapiens meeting saw MAD FinTech as an opportunity to get in touch with other companies and take their business to the next level.
