The Madrid Capital FinTech (MAD FinTech) cluster has launched HUB MAD FinTech, an umbrella for companies and start-ups, with a catalogue of services that will help to boost their projects quickly and easily, and which is designed to be the incubator for entrepreneurs, start-ups and spin-offs in the FinTech world.
“To generate a digital Hub that will one day be a physical Hub, with a set of features that make possible the birth and growth of our partners”, explained Salvador Molina, president of MAD FinTech, during the presentation of the MAD FinTech HUB.
It is a ‘one-stop-shop’ service catalogue that will allow cluster members to access the services they need when setting up a company or working on a day-to-day basis. A new concept that seeks to support companies in administrative, legal, fiscal and even technological matters, with the aim of bringing together their needs in one place, where they can satisfy them.
Hand in hand with the best
The HUB MAD FinTech was presented on 15 April in a webinar with the participation of José Luis Moreno, Director General of Economy of the Madrid City Council, who announced that the City Council will support this initiative, and Alejandro Enesco, technical advisor of the City Council.
In addition, the presentation was given by Aarón Chaves, Manager of CU&E, one of the entities that will be in charge of advising the companies adhered to the cluster, through the new HUB, with the objective of “being able to get what all the companies in the FinTech sector and other sectors may need”. CU&E’s speciality is the search for funding: subsidies, grants, taxation, public calls for proposals, etc.
The webinar was also attended by Carmen Rodríguez, Managing Partner of Fintech Venture Consulting, another of the entities in charge of providing consultancy, business development and legal services specialised in FinTech. The company offers 360-degree services to FinTech companies, an incubation work that they will provide, together with CU&E, to the cluster partners.
They were joined by José Antonio Díaz Prieto, director of Fundconsult, who will also help companies through this HUB by providing them with all the basic services of domiciliation, paperwork, registrations, branding, legal and labour management, etc.
Necessary services, just a click away
This digital incubator offers a line of corporate consultancy, legal advice (regulatory compliance, intellectual property or cyberlaw), sales consultancy to market new products and services, and private public and private financing, in Spain and abroad.
HUB MAD FinTech is set up as an incubator, which will help to create and promote companies from the cluster and for the cluster. All the information about this new growth epicentre will be available on this website, where interested parties will be able to clarify their doubts and get in touch with these mentors who will help companies to meet their needs.
In addition, this incubation service will be offered to all associates or members of the cluster’s Institutional Partners: professional associations, employers’ associations, professional associations, innovation centres, universities, etc.
