About MADFinTech
MADRID CAPITAL FINTECH (MAD FinTech) cluster is a non-profit association that was created under the boost of the MADRID CITY COUNCIL, with the lead of the ECOFIN FORUM through its CÍRCULO FINTECH working group, whose thirty companies become partners founders of the cluster.
MAD FINTECH brings together commercial companies, financial entities, associations, training centers and institutions, both public and private, that carry out activities in the Madrid area with a global vocation and that freely associate to promote the development of the FinTech ecosystem in Madrid and from Madrid on an international scale.
MADRID CAPITAL FINTECH is structured around these foundational objectives:
Reinventing the Financial Services of the future in all its areas
Means of payment, banking services, insurance, savings and investment; by creating spaces for ideation, debate, co-creation, training, stimulation of talent and open innovation.
Be a laboratory of ideas for the progress of Financial Services
Taking advantage of the opportunities generated by the technological revolution and innovation.
Lead the development of a FinTech Ecosystem
By promoting a culture of collaboration, open innovation and the generation of synergies between the different pre-existing and future agents that we can attract to the Madrid area, helping to generate and retain talent.
Contribute to position Madrid as FinTech Capital
Interconnected with the European and global ecosystem of large digital and financial capitals.

Among financial entities, insurance companies, financial market agents, banks, new incumbent companies of technology-based financial services, training and innovation centers, technology, institutions, associations and other economic agents that work in the field of Financial Services in the Madrid area, public and private, with a global vocation.
Contribute from Madrid to the development of the sector in Spain and the European Union
For the best achievement of its purposes, MADRID CAPITAL FINTECH will carry out the activities it deems appropriate, such as:
1. Generate of talent by promoting education and training for the best qualification of professionals.
2. Promote and development of R+D+i projects in the sector, either directly or indirectly through collaboration in business development networks.
3. Promote, organice, collaboration or sponsorship in congresses, conferences, seminars, colloquia, exhibitions, or other activities of any kind of interest to the sector.
4. Organice of training and awareness courses, conferences, meetings, seminars and other similar ones, as well as the use of social communication media for the development and dissemination of activities.
5. Prepare, editing and distribution of publications to publicize issues related to the sector.
6. Prepare of reports, studies, guides and other documents on Financial Services and FinTech.
7. Promote of accreditation and homologation systems for products, services and systems, including the recognition of people, companies and entities in the financial and FinTech sectors.
8. Promote public-private cooperation with Administrations in everything related to the financial sector and FinTech. Text editor
9. The establishment of relationships with those entities, public or private, national or international, that pursue purposes similar to those of the Association.
10. Federate, associate or merge with other entities whatever their territorial scope of action, as well as participate in them.
11. Develope of business services that are part of the aims of the Association.
12. Develope economic activities of all kinds aimed at achieving its objectives, or to gather resources for it.
