The Madrid Capital FinTech cluster adds a new proposal for its members, the Speaker’s Corner, where our partners will meet with market players to discuss and learn directly what is happening.
For the premiere, MAD FinTech, together with the Madrid Association of Economists, has invited Carlos Conesa, Deputy Director General of Financial Innovation and Market Infrastructures of the Bank of Spain, who will analyse the future and announced digital euro.
The Speaker’s Corner will be presented by Salvador Molina, president of Foro ECOFIN and the MAD FinTech cluster, and will shed light on a project that could change the European financial system forever, by creating a cryptocurrency linked to the euro. One more step towards the possible end of cash, but with many questions that Carlos Conesa will help to unravel.
Amelia Pérez Zabaleta, dean of the Madrid College of Economists, will also take part in the debate, making this an essential event for understanding a future that will be here before we know it.
