After five years of history, the FinTech ecosystem was already looking forward to this announcement of the ECOFIN Forum selective 2021 edition. The event will take place at the CaixaForum Auditorium in Madrid and will be chaired by Carlos San Basilio, Secretary General of the Treasury and International Finance, who will also present the trophies to the ten selected FinTech companies.
Unique selective in Spain
The TopTen FinTech is a selection of outstanding entities named each year by the ECOFIN Forum based on the proposals of its specialised working group Círculo FinTech, which includes around thirty leading entities in the Financial Innovation ecosystem, such as KPMG, Evo Banco, Wizink, National Nederlanden, Accenture, Multigestión Iberia, Entelgy, Mastercard, N26, Creditea, Everis, Finreg 360, among others.
Each year, these companies analyse the European FinTech ecosystem and present their finalists to the ECOFIN Forum, which validates, votes and decides on the ten companies that will finally make the annual shortlist, based on the growth and innovation trajectory of the candidates over the previous year.
In 2020, the awards went to Aplázame, Bnext, Creditea, Finizens, Housers, Life.Box, N26, October, Tesoriza and Woonivers, companies that in recent months, since their appointment, have been the protagonists of numerous acts and events promoted by the ECOFIN Forum and the MAD FinTech cluster, where some of them lead Commissions and Working Groups.
