Miguel Ángel Redondo, Councillor for Economy, Innovation and Employment of the Madrid City Council has taken stock of the first year of life of the Madrid Capital FinTech (MAD FinTech) cluster in an interview, during the celebration of the InnoDay FinTech 2021 in March, in which he also refers to the role of the capital as a pole of attraction for investment and companies.
He also reveals some of the measures that the Madrid City Council has implemented to encourage investment in the city and, by extension, in the region. Activities that are driven by various clusters and an investment-friendly tax policy.

Redondo’s words complement those of José Luis Moreno, Director General of Economy of the Madrid City Council, during the webinar presenting the renewed MAD FinTech Project Board, which will serve to channel proposals that are eligible for funding from European NextGenerationEU funds.
