The Madrid Capital FinTech cluster has begun to bring together its committees and has set up the first working groups, in which the member companies are already participating, albeit from a distance.
On 2 April the Insurance Commission/InsurTechand on 3 April theSilver Economy Commission meet. They will do so by videoconference to guarantee compliance with the measures included in the State of Alarm, as well as the recommended social distance.
These commissions will begin to prepare the topics of interest to the cluster and the companies that make up the cluster, and will involve the launch of a project that officially began on 19 February in the Auditorium of the Palacio de Cibeles in Madrid.
Likewise, the cluster has already created the first Working Group on Guarantees and Credits for SMEs and the Self-Employed, as part of its contribution to the necessary help needed by companies to overcome the measures adopted to stop the spread of the coronavirus. This Commission is also meeting this week by telematic means.

The MAD FinTech cluster has also opened the procedure for official membership. To this end, it has made available on its website (ecofin.es/MADFinTech) a partnership form to be filled in by companies wishing to take part in a project that will boost the future of Finance and Insurance.
The form must be completed with the details of each company, as well as contact details for sending communications and notifications. It will also be necessary to indicate the type of partner that each member company wishes to be, from among those available and explained in this link.
