The MAD FinTech cluster begins an international communication campaign for investors, companies and digital capital through Madrid Investment Attraction (MIA). The Madrid City Council is the usual link with entities interested in setting up in the capital of Spain.<\/strong><\/p>\n

With these communication actions, both the Madrid City Council<\/strong>and the ECOFIN Forum aim to take the activities of the cluster partners to every corner of the planet. The network of MAD FinTech Ambassadors is therefore another of the weapons of internationalisation already in place.<\/p>\n

The MIA document has been prepared in Spanish and English to explain the objectives of these Digital Economy clusters promoted by Madrid City Council.<\/p>\n

MAD FinTech<\/strong>was launched on 19 February during the InnoDay FinTech 2020<\/strong>, an event that brought together more than a hundred companies that joined this unprecedented project in the Auditorium of the Palacio de Cibeles in Madrid. Bego\u00f1a Villac\u00eds, Deputy Mayor of Madrid,<\/strong>hosted an event in which companies from all sectors participated, including the TopTen FinTech 2020: Bnext, N26, October, Creditea, Apl\u00e1zame, Finizens, Housers, Woonivers, Life.Box by Entelgy y Tesoriza<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Together with these leading companies, entities such as CaixaBank, Bankia, AON, Caser and EVO Banco<\/strong> (which forms part of the FinTech Circle promoted by the ECOFIN Forum and chaired by Salvador Molina) joined the cluster, which is now embarking on its international adventure.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

International network<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The MAD FinTech cluster was born with a Network of Ambassadors<\/strong>in several cities around the world. Paris, Berlin, Lugano (Switzerland), Tallinn, Lima, Panama City, Quito, Mexico City or Beijing<\/strong> are some of the cities that already have a representative of the cluster. This Network will help to weave alliances both with similar clusters and with local companies, entities and institutions that can help MAD FinTech member companies<\/strong>to continue their commercial, professional and research work on the future of their sectors. Here you can consult the Ambassadors of each city.<\/p>\n

In parallel, and with the support of Madrid Investment Attraction (MIA)<\/strong>, the Madrid City Council will promote its network of clusters<\/strong> abroad: in addition to MAD FinTech, Cybersecurity; Big Data and Artificial Intelligence; Construction, Engineering and Infrastructures; and Circular Economy.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Of these clusters, MAD FinTech will act as a central element and coordinator thanks to the impetus of the ECOFIN Forum, the think tank<\/em>chaired by Salvador Molina<\/strong> which has launched initiatives such as the FinTech Circle (which brings together the main FinTech and InsurTech companies present in Spain) or InnoDay, the series of events that serve to co-create the future of Financial Services.<\/p>\n

The Madrid City Council has published in Spanish and English the objectives of this expansion and international promotion of its cluster network.<\/p>\n
